They are more vulnerable to poverty, lack of education and wars. This statement must not be omitted or overlooked. The photographer wanted to depart from the stereotypical representation which places "the" woman as victimized to recognize the fighting visible or invisible, led by some. Witnessing women's commitment is, if we are willing to consider them, a stark reminder that societies are mixed and their history is equal as feminine as it is masculine. there is recognition of the struggle, contribution but also the sacrifice of these strangers, for survival, dignity, democracy, equality and justice.

After their hugely popular production of "Old Actors Never Die" in Plett, the Bitou Amateur Theatrical Society(BATS) thought they could have a good rest before embarking on their 2015 production.
BATS members are excited and apprehensive about their "Big Time" debut, but David is confident that Port Elizabeth Audiences will enjoy the "Old Actors" as much as Plett did. He has always said "We may be amateurs, but we are committed to a professional performance"
The Play will be performed at The Little Theatre, Port Elizabeth on Friday 27th &Saturday 28th at 7:30PM and Saturday 28th & Sunday 29th at 14:30.
